Teen board games are not only for those who love strategy games. There are many board games for teens that are quite hilarious and provide the kind of goofy fun that many teens enjoy.

No testing was needed for this game ;). This game is all about fun and it can be played as a stand-alone or as an extension to We Didn’t Playtest This At All.
You won’t wreak your brain nor lose friendships over this game… hopefully.

The game is super easy, anyone can learn to play it in few seconds. Everything in the game is random and hilarious. It is silly fun that appeals to many teens.
Everyone starts with two cards. At your turn you draw a card and play a card following the instructions on the card. You will face dragons, zombies, bombs and who knows what. It is all crazy and random.

2. It’s In The Bag
A fun team game for teens. Especially for those who love to perform.
Have a fantastic time watching your team member describe words, act them out while you and the rest of the team try to guess what the word is.
What makes this game hilarious or perhaps annoying are people like me who are just not very good at describing or acting stuff.

- The game is for 4 to 20 people so it works well for larger groups too.
- Ages 10 and up.

3. DiXit – A Game of Imagination and Storytelling
Every picture tells a story. How good are you at storytelling?
A sweet game for those who love creating stories.
It is a little bit like Apples to Apples. You pick a card, come up with a sentence inspired by the card. Put the card face down. Other players choose a card that goes with the sentence and put theirs face down on the table. All the cards are shuffled and revealed.
The players vote which one goes best with the sentence. Whoever gets most votes gets a point.
Imagination is the key in this fun game.

4. Moods
It’s not WHAT you say but HOW you say it… Isn’t that true!
This game comes with 120 sentences that are to be acted in a particular mood. You’ll get 60 mood cards.
Draw a sentence card and a mood card. Act it out and the team members try to guess your mood. Get ready for lots of laughter.

5. Back & 4th
Back & 4th is another board game for teenagers that is suitable for large group. This fast-paced game is played in teams.
Each team starts with a 1 minute on its timer. The Clue-Giver gives examples of things that have something in common and the team tries to guess the category (a category could be for example “things that are red”).
You’re competing against the other team and the team that wins 4 rounds first is the winner.
A great game for a teen game night or teen party.

Whenever I play games with my teens I request a game that I don’t need to think too much or be fast…

6. Scythe – Europe in 1920
Go back in time to 1920’s in the alternate history…
A perfect board game for teens who enjoy learning complicated games. Probably does not seem complicated after you learn dozens of rules which I’ve been told are very clearly explained.
