1. DIY

Beeswax Candle

I got a 100% pure beeswax candle from my friend for Christmas. I love it.

Beeswax candles are said to clear the air. How cool is that! When burned they produce negative ions that helps to eliminate odors, dust, and mold.

Make together some beeswax candles for your home or to give as Valentine’s gifts.

2. Play

Detective Board Game

  • ages: 16+
  • players: 1-5
  • time: 2-3 hours
  • (Note: I read in the reviews that it has a couple of bad words in the game cards.)

Table Top Hockey

  • ages: 12+
  • players: 2

Catch Phrase

  • ages: 12+
  • players: 3+

A fast paced game of guessing and tossing.

3. Bake

Heart Shaped Pretzels

For this Valentine’s Day make heart shaped pretzels! The recipe is from My Name Is Snickerdoodle.

Make these together with your teen or serve them on Valentine’s Day as a delicious snack or breakfast.

4. Go

Enjoy the winter and go ice skating. If you don’t have an outdoor rink nearby perhaps you can find an indoor one.

5. Talk & Riddle

1. If you had a time machine for a day, what would you do with it?
2. What’s your favorite song? Why?
3. What do you know how to do, that you could teach someone else?
4. Born in an instant, I tell all stories. I can be lost, but I never die. What am I?
5. What did English say to Algebra when they were arguing?
