Teens are quite the interesting group of people. It’s not always easy to figure out how to have fun with a teenage daughter or son. I’m hoping that there is something here that will pique your child’s interest and you can have a fun moment together.
1. Get the Bike Ready
Well, the weather has been perfect for bike rides quite some time, so perhaps you already have your bikes ready to go.
But in case you don’t, now is the time to do so.
Also, learn to do some quick bike repairs like putting the chains back on or fixing a flat tire.
Here is a free Bike Maintenance Course.
2. Go For a Bike Ride

4. DIY Fire Pit
Do you like bonfires?
Does the smoke seem to follow you around no matter where you sit? It certainly seems to go wherever I find a seat.
What is the solution?
A smokeless fire pit!

6. Make S’mores In Cones
What is a campfire without s’mores?
Try something different this time and make campfire cones. S’mores in a cone! I’d probably add some raspberries into mine.
7. DIY Sugar Scrub
Walking barefoot in the summer can be rough on the feet. Keep the feet soft and happy with a DIY sugar scrub.
You’ve got many options to choose from.
Peppermint sugar scrub from Our Oily House is a refreshing choice.

How about looking through old pictures and turning them into memes. Spend a summer evening exchanging stories and coming up with fun captions.
You all will roll on the floor laughing.

- Do you think it’s ever okay to lie? If yes, what kind of situations?
- If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- What do you say when you lose a Wii game?
- What starts with a P, ends with an E, and has thousands of letters?
