You as hostess provide refreshments and some entertainment in addition to fabulous company.
How much should baby shower favors cost?
Typically the baby shower favors cost 1 to 5 dollars each. You can of course spend as much or little as you would like. But if you have a large crowd it can quickly add up.

What Are the Best Baby Shower Favors
It’s easy to overthink this one. It is after all a baby shower favor and not the only gift the person will ever receive.
Of course you want it to be something cool, not lame. A favor that the guests actually want.
So let’s get started.
1. Edible Baby Shower Favors
Everyone loves to get edible baby shower favors. I know I do :). Those are fun to give too.
Popcorn is one the easiest and most delicious baby shower favors. You can pop your own or get already popped popcorn from the store.
If plain popcorn sounds blah, you can make it more fun.
Melt chocolate and mix it with the popcorn. Spread on cookie sheet and top with candy or sprinkles that go with the baby shower theme.
Put the popcorn in bags or boxes and attach a cute tag.
TAG idea: “Ready to Pop” or “Thanks for Popping In”.
Everyone likes cookies! And if they don’t I’m sure there is someone in the family that will happily eat this yummy baby shower favor.
You can get cookies in any shape from bakeries. But I know those can get expensive. So the easy solution is to make them yourself.
You could also get a box of cookies from a store and give them a makeover.
Get Oreos, wafers, Milanos… anything and decorate them to match your baby shower theme. Dip into chocolate or colorful icing. Drizzle with chocolate. Top with sprinkles or candy. Or write something on them like “baby”.
Wrap in cellophane and you have a cute baby shower favor on a budget.
TAG idea: “You’re so SWEET for coming!”
Another sweet idea. Make your own or buy jam from the store.
Wrap a ribbon or attach a cute label around the jar. You could also cut a piece of fabric to cover the lid and tie it with a ribbon or twine.
4. Chocolate Bars
Women love chocolate. Wrap a bar with a theme fitting wrapping paper or one of the cool chocolate bar wrappers that are made for this purpose.
Or you can simply get Hershey’s bar and color the letters “he” blue or “she” pink.
5. Hershey’s Kisses or Nuggets
Kisses and Nuggets presented in jars, bowls or wrapped in cellophane are cute, sweet, and inexpensive. Besides who would say no to chocolate!

Make your own or get a collection of hot chocolate mix. Put in a mug or mason jar. Yummy!
As an alternative to hot chocolate you could also give instant coffee packets with cookies or in a mug.

Some of us don’t drink coffee but would not say no to delicious tea.
Customize the tea bags by wrapping them creatively or attaching a label that says “A baby is brewing.”
