My Tuesday Therapy: chatting with a friend is therapeutic whether the topic is health, parenting, bread making, blogging, adrenal fatigue, or party ideas for kids.
Adrenal Fatigue and Parties for Kids… What???
Not typically topics that go hand in hand. When I was in partial bed rest recovering from adrenal fatigue, I had plenty of time to do what I love: plan parties. Executing them was another thing but with good plans and early preparations it was doable. After all, life does not stop when you have adrenal fatigue, you still want to enjoy doing fun activities with your children.
I suffered from Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome for many years. I was in stage three (c) when I started natural treatments to support my adrenals and to heal my body. I would love to share with you my adrenal fatigue story.
In my posts and emails I will give you more details about the treatments I have done and still do. Read the Adrenal Fatigue Recovery Plan for tips to get started. That page also contains many links to the posts on this site. Regaining my health has enabled me to enjoy life again.
Some prefer to call this health condition Hypothalamus – Pituitary – Adrenal (HPA) axis dysfunction. In my blog I will mainly refer to it as adrenal fatigue.
My Tuesday Therapy is also a place for you to receive ideas for fun activities and parties for kids whether you have adrenal fatigue or not. I love party planning and have thrown many memorable parties for kids on a small budget.
You will find detailed plans, that include menus, game ideas, decorations, and invitations. I’ll also provide you links to the suggested items to make your parties sparkle.
Why the Name My Tuesday Therapy
For several years I got together on Tuesday afternoons with my dear friend, Tammy. We lovingly called our visits Tuesday Therapy because talking about life with a friend is therapeutic. I wanted to honor that friendship with the name of this blog.
A Little Bit About Me
Just a quick note on me. I was born and raised in Finland. I moved to the States in my mid-twenties when I married the love of my life. We have lived together in four states, and we have three lovely daughters whom I homeschool.
In addition to studying and talking about health, and hosting parties, I love beaches, romance novels, and most of all spending time with my family and friends.
And I’m not a therapist or any other kind of medical professional :).
Hopefully, you will find this blog “therapeutic” — a place to hang out and receive awesome party ideas and tips on having less stress.
Any day, any time My Tuesday Therapy will be here for you!
